Directions to Wilson Creek Visitor Ctr. from Hwy. 221
From Hwy. 221 travel Edgemont Road (as you go through Edgemont, you will pass Coffey's Antique Store on your right) approximately 17 miles to Brown Mtn. Beach Road on your right just beyond Mortimer Campground (which is on your left). Turn right beside Betsy's Store (which is on left corner after turning). Follow Brown Mtn. Beach Road approximately 5 miles and the Visitor Center will be on right.

Directions to Wilson Creek Visitor Center from Globe
Travel Globe Road to Hwy. 90. Turn right onto Hwy. 90 and travel approximately 9 miles to Betsy's Store. Turn left onto Brown Mountain Beach Rd. (beside Betsy's Store) and the Visitor Center will be approximately 5 miles on your right. A beautiful log center!

Directions to Wilson Creek Visitor Center from Hwy. 18
Turn Northwest onto Rocky Road in Gamewell. Travel approximately 8 miles and turn left onto Abington Road. Follow approximately 2-1/2 miles and turn left onto Hwy. 90 going 1-1/2 miles to Adako Road on your left. Turn left onto Adako Road following approximately 3-1/2 miles turning right into the Pisgah National Forest onto Brown Mtn. Beach Rd. The Visitor Center will be about 4-1/2 miles on your left.

Directions to Wilson Creek Visitor Center from Hwy. 321
Turn onto Southwest Loop and travel approximately 5 miles to Hwy. 18. Turn left onto Hwy. 18 following approximately 3-1/2 miles to Rocky Road. Turn right onto Rocky Rd. and follow directions from Hwy. 18 above.

Directions to Wilson Creek Visitor Center from I-40
Take Exit 100 (Jamestown Rd.) in Morganton and turn right at end of ramp (if traveling Westbound) or turn left at end of ramp (if traveling Eastbound). Go to third traffic light and turn left onto Hwy. 181, North. Follow Hwy. 181 for approximately 12 miles to Brown Mtn. Beach Rd., which is on your right (the road sign is on your left). There is a white church on the corner of Brown Mtn. Beach Rd. Turn right onto Brown Mtn. Beach Rd. follow approximately 5 miles where Brown Mtn. Beach Rd. turns to the left into Pisgah National Forest. Turn left and the Visitor Center will be approximately 4-1/2 miles on your left.
